Our Review of 2025!
Festive Greetings everyone!
Well, here we are at the end of another year! It doesn’t seem long ago that we were reflecting on another chapter in the life of Activ Physiotherapy. This year has been challenging at times, but we are incredibly proud of what our team has achieved and privileged to have supported so many people through our Sheffield & Hope physiotherapy services. We have received such lovely feedback throughout the year and are truly grateful for all the recommendations and continued support.
We said goodbye to Clare and Holly this year, and Nora moved on to the world of dentistry. At the same time, we were delighted to welcome Saja, Amy, Maddie, Mignone, Sophie, and Nikki to our ever-expanding team. They have all settled in wonderfully and made a fantastic contribution from the outset.
This year, we also took a big step forward by digitalising the practice. By introducing the Cliniko booking platform, we now use digital clinical notes, which has improved efficiency while also helping to reduce our carbon footprint. Patients can also now benefit from secure online booking via our website.
Our specialist physiotherapy services have continued to grow and remain very popular, including adolescent athlete care (Activ Kids), women’s health (Activ Women), sports injuries and sports massage (Activ Sports), and home visits (Activ Home).
Later this year, we introduced a new service focusing on workplace and display screen equipment assessments and case management (Activ Work). This has had a strong start, including a contract providing remote assessments for Barnsley Council.
We remain committed to developing our clinical expertise and have continued to attend relevant training throughout the year. We were also pleased to host an acupuncture course at the Totley clinic earlier this year.
Finally, we are grateful to be able to give something back to our local community through charity support and fundraising. Highlights include Rob’s Sleepout, raising vital funds for homeless veterans, and our clinic-to-clinic walk, which raised almost £700 for Edale Mountain Rescue.
