Workstation assessments
According to the Health and Safety Executive, every employer must protect its workers from health risks at work. This includes display screen equipment such as PCs, laptops, tablets and smartphones. If these are used for more than an hour at work or in your own home, these regulations cover you.
How workstation assessments are carried out
Workstation assessment can be carried out in person or remotely using your phone camera. The physiotherapist looks at:
The whole workstation including the equipment, furniture and working conditions.
The job being done.
Any unique requirements you may have due to injury or disability.

Standard DSE Assessment
This is a standard assessment that takes 30-60 minutes including a brief report. This can be completed remotely or on-site.
The charge for the Remote service is £90.
The On-Site service costs:
£140 for up to 3 employees.
For 4-10 people there is a discount of 10% and for 10+ assessments there is a 15% discount.
Advanced DSE Assessment for Office Workers*
This advanced package is specifically for office workers and includes 60 minutes onsite plus a detailed report and advice regrading equipment.
This service costs £210 and includes 1 hour onsite and a 1 hour report.
*This is particularly recommended if there are any health conditions present or concerns noted.
Advanced Workplace Assessment for Factory/Manual Workers*
This advanced package is specifically tailored towards workers who are within a factory or manual profession/workplace. It includes 60-90 minutes onsite and a detailed report and advice regarding equipment.
This service costs £210 and includes 1 hour onside and 1 hour report.
*This is particularly recommended if there are any health conditions present or concerns noted.
Case Management with Referral to Physio Assessment & Treatment*
This is an occupational health assessment for employees absent from work, either short or long term with Musculoskeletal conditions. This assessment provides fitness to work with return to work recommendations.
This service includes a referral to physiotherapy assessment and treatment.
The cost for this package is £275 and includes an assessment and report.
Any physiotherapy bookings made with Activ as a result of the findings within this package will qualify at a discounted rate.

New Starters Health & Fitness Assessment
The cost for this service is £100 and any physiotherapy bookings made with Activ as a result of the findings within through this package will qualify at a discounted rate.
