Rob’s Football Trip to Holland with Chesterfield’s F.C’s Academy Group was a Sporting Success!

Activ's General Manager Rob Mooney has recently returned from a football academy trip to Holland which was 'a generally successful April Holland tour.'

Rob, who also runs our popular Activ Kids clinic offering specialist physiotherapy treatment to help injured youths return to sport, told InterActive, 'We had some winners and runners up trophies to show for it across the age groups – and not too many injuries to keep me busy during or after the weekend of games for the ladies and lads of Chesterfield F.C's (Community Trust) academy group!'

Rob, the coach physio, added that his youngest son, Ollie, 11, was 'happy with his work despite not winning their tough age group, with a couple of goals against the Aston Villa FC Shadow Academy group and Cambridge United's Academy on day one.'

Everyone was happy to get home after many hours travelling on the coach outbound via the Dover Ferry, and returning from Kaatsheuvel, Holland, through the Channel Tunnel.
